Our Story – From Local Mechanic to Trusted Locksmith

Founded by Mark in 2017, MW Locksmiths started with a background in mechanics and a keen eye for practical problem-solving. After 20 years as a car mechanic, Mark developed dermatitis from working with oil. At the time, he was servicing a locksmith’s van when inspiration struck. When the locksmith moved abroad, Mark saw a gap in the market and decided to retrain, bringing his mechanical expertise to the locksmith trade.


Today, MW Locksmiths handles everything from emergency lockouts to double-glazed unit replacements, with most jobs done the same day. We don’t charge call-out fees, and we treat your security concerns like they’re our own.
